Services

Worship at the Church of the Epiphany centers around the Holy Eucharist, or Holy Communion.  Receiving Christ’s Body and Blood in this Sacrament strengthens us to serve God in every part of our lives.  We celebrate the Eucharist at every regular worship service on Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m.  The service at 8:30 is more contemplative and does not include music.  The service at 11:00 offers a sung liturgy, organ accompaniment, and a choir.  Occasionally music is provided by our children’s choir, or by parishioners who play a variety of string instruments.

Church of The Epiphany offers worship from the Anglican and Episcopal tradition, which follows the Book of Common Prayer. In addition to Holy Eucharist, there is an emphasis on scripture, individual and corporate prayer, and confession and absolution.

Our worship is led by a priest and well-trained lay leaders.  The Order of Worship is printed in a bulletin, so visitors can participate fully in worship.  Members of the church are always willing to help those new to the Episcopal Church follow the service.

In our worship you will find quiet time for reflection, a teaching time, prayer, and affirmation of faith contained in the creeds of the Church. Our earnest hope is that you will experience the presence of God in grace-filled moments of love, joy and peace, as well as healing, reconciliation and the challenge of each person’s call to ministry.

We invite you to join us for Sunday worship, or for any of the special services we offer throughout the year.  If you’d like to learn more about the Episcopal Church, feel free to call our rector, The Rev. Linda Nye, or visit one of our links.
